Charter # 1: 8 Hour "Glacial Fjord/Hot Springs Tour"
Our Most Popular Nautical Day Tour!

Our 42 foot Twin Diesel Jet boat MV Nekhani departs the Bella Coola Harbour at 9:00 am and heads West out the Glacial Fjords. Your Skipper Leonard Ellis takes you to several historical sites built by settlers and talks about the history and settlement of the area. We cruise by Hanging Glaciers and stop in Bachelor Bay at the sandy beach and visit Seal Rock. The views to the East of Mt. Nusatsum and to the West of Bentinck Spire are spectacular. We cruise into the mouth of the Salmon Spawning Creek at Green Bay to view the Tidal Estuary in search of Grizzlies, Black Bears and Wolves. Heading out around the point into South Bentinck Arm you may have opportunity to see Seals, Dolphins, Humpback Whales and Killer whales. Arriving at the Hot Springs you enjoy a beautiful remote Hot Spring in a natural crevice with crystal clear water and no odor. After your soothing soak in the hot springs we cruise over to the gorgeous set of Waterfalls and cool down with the overspray. For Lunch we tie up in a quiet little emerald green harbour at the trailhead of the famous Big Cedar Tree. Your Skipper prepares you a nice onboard barbequed lunch while guests enjoy watching the Seals and Eagles. In hot weather many people enjoy a Swim here in the glacial water. Departing the sheltered bay we cruise up to a vertical granite bluff to view a very impressive display of ancient First Nation Pictographs that tell stories of long ago. Heading north out of the Fjord we keep an eye out for Dolphins and at the end of the day arrive back at the Bella Coola Harbour just after 5:00 pm.

Price for the 8 hour Day Tour (9 am - 5 pm), including Barbequed Lunch is $175.00 per person.
